Vitamix 7500 Overview

One of Vitamix's classic models, the 7500 features Vitamix's most powerful motor for household blenders, allowing you to blend virtually any ingredient with ease. Its 64oz, low-profile container makes creating large batches simple while fitting under most kitchen cabinets. If you're on the hunt for a durable at-home blender that provides power and versatility, the Vitamix 7500 is for you.

Vitamix 750 Overview

Vitamix 750 is a professional-grade, high-quality blender that's perfect if you're a busy chef in a bustling restaurant, an at-home cook who tackles large cooking projects, or simply love blending. It's self-cleaning, easy to use, and versatile. Plus, 5 programmed settings allow you to blend soup, smoothies, purées, and frozen desserts perfectly, while the 5th self-cleaning program has your blender clean and ready for another blend instantly.

Construction Comparison: The Vitamix 7500 Vs. 750

The Lids

Both the Vitamix 7500's and 750's lid and removable plug has a 2oz measurement line for precision. Its vented construction allows you to bring blended recipes to piping-hot temperature in the container, or add ingredients while mixing. Because they're identical, the lids won't be a deciding factor when choosing between these two models.

The Blades

Both the Vitamix 7500 and 750 feature laser-cut, stainless-steel hammermill and cutting blades measuring 4 in. diameter. This means that both models do well at grabbing ingredients and maintaining an even blend throughout all stages of the blending process than shorter blades. These blades are great for chopping foods with the pulse feature or grabbing and blending frozen fruits for thick smoothies.

The Base

Vitamix 7500

The Vitamix 7500's base is made of BPA free plastic and metal, and comes in red, black, and white. It features a clean control display with a start/stop switch, a variable speed control dial, and a pulse switch. The start/stop switch allows you to start or stop your blends at any time, the dial allows you to move between 10 different speeds throughout the blending process, and the pulse switch blends at the speed set on the dial for as long as you hold the button. Four rubber feet on the bottom of the base prevent slippage in storage and while blending.

Vitamix 750

The Vitamix 750 comes in a black or pearl grey brushed metal finish, and features a clean, simple control display with all of the same features that the 7500 has, except the 750's program settings can also be selected via the dial. Simply turn the dial away from the variable speeds, at the bottom, and toward the settings at the top. Picture icons indicate which program setting you're selecting; for example, the hot soup program setting is depicted by a simple bowl icon with steam. Four rubber feet prevent slippage in storage and while blending.

Performance Comparison: Vitamix 7500 Vs. 750

The Motor

Both the Vitamix 750 and 7500 feature Vitamix's 2.2HP motor, which is Vitamix's strongest household motor available. Not only does the 2.2HP motor pulverize virtually any ingredient— its strength also makes this motor longer-lasting, as it can handle frequent blends better than the Vitamix 5200 for example, which has a slightly less powerful, 2HP motor.

Versatility

Vitamix 7500

With its high performance motor, variable speeds, and pulse control, this Vitamix can make any blended recipe, from doughs, to soups, to dips and spreads.

Vitamix 750

This model's high performance motor and programmed settings makes it perfect for creating any of your favorite blended recipes with the touch of a button. Four settings include soups, purées, smoothies, and frozen desserts, providing perfect, consistent results.

Ease of cleaning

Vitamix 7500

The Vitamix 7500 can be cleaned by adding dish soap and water to the container, snapping on the lid, and turning the blender onto speed 1. Slowly increase the blender speed to 10 for 30-60 seconds, and then rinse and drain your 7500 container. Vitamix recommends this cleaning method to make your containers last. It's also an easy and quick way to clean your blender!

Vitamix 750

This Vitamix has an easy cleaning program setting, which makes doing dishes a breeze. Select the setting, add water and soap, and with a touch of a button, the 750 is ready for more blending! While this function is similar to the 7500's, the program setting takes all of the speed control and timing out, which makes this process that much easier.

Price & Warranty Comparison: The Vitamix 7500 Vs. 750

Price

Vitamix 7500

As a traditional model with all of the essential features required to make great blended recipes, this model is priced just above $500. In comparison to newer Vitamix models, like the A3500, this blender is much more affordable and still creates great blended recipes. Plus, a model like the A3500 requires you to purchase extra containers (at $145 each). The 7500 also comes with a low-profile tamper that helps move ingredients towards the blades during thicker blends, and a Vitamix cookbook including all of the recipes you can create with your Vitamix.

Vitamix 750

As a model with a few upgrades like programmed settings, the 750 is slightly more expensive that the 7500. While the 750 is priced similarly to a model like the A3500, the 750 includes all of the same things included with the 7500— a Vitamix cookbook, and a low-profile tamper.

Warranty

Both the Vitamix 5200 and 5300 offer a 7-year warranty, as these blenders are incredibly durable and made from high quality materials that are built to last. An extended warranty of an extra 3 year is available on both models for an additional $75.

Return Policy

Both the Vitamix 5200 and 5300 offer a 30-day, in-home risk-free trial so that you can be sure you've made the right choice. Returns made in the initial 30 days are granted free of cost. After the 30-day period, you'll have to pay a percentage of what you originally paid as a "restocking fee," and the shipping cost. Vitamix doesn't accept returns after one year.

So, Which Should You Choose?

Both the Vitamix 7500 and 750 have variable speed control, pulse control,  powerful motors, and are able to make soups, sauces, spreads, smoothies, frozen desserts, nut butters, and more. Both come with a 7-year warranty, and both are made by one of the most reputable blender brands on the market, So, which one should you choose?

We recommend the 750 if you're a busy chef who would benefit from the programmed settings, which allow you to step away and focus on other tasks. This feature relieves stress and saves time in the kitchen, making it a perfect choice for the bustling multitasker or a busy cafe. Plus, the easy clean setting means that this blender can be ready for another blend in seconds.

On the other hand, the Vitamix 7500 is a great choice if you're an at-home, avid cook who loves blended recipes. The 7500 has all of the great features the 750 has, minus the programmed settings. If you're more comfortable choosing your own consistencies and can't see yourself taking advantage of these settings, the 7500 is a better choice for you. The slightly lower price point makes the 7500 a more practical purchase for most households that don't require more advanced features.
